County Coordinator – Job Ad

NOTICE OF INTENDED EMPLOYMENT
AND REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

The Board of County Commissioners of Hamilton County, Florida, gives notice of intent to employ a person for the position of County Coordinator.

County Coordinator is an administrative management position responsible for a wide range of difficult to complex administrative activities related to the function of county government operations under the supervision and policy guidance of the Board of County Commissioners. The position requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in Public Administration, Business, Political Science, or a closely related field and three (3) year’s work experience in governmental operations and
management. (A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the above minimum qualifications). The position also requires residency in Hamilton County within 6 months of hire date.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000. The starting salary will depend on qualifications.

In addition, the position requires a current and valid Class E Florida driver’s license (regular operator’s license) with a good driving record. A “background check” and pre-employment physical are required. A letter authorizing the “background check” must be included with your application and may be obtained from the Office of Clerk of Circuit Court.
